Recently, a non-local customer paid a special visit to STMC’s manufacturing plant in Nanjing. The customer brought over 80 workpiece samples of diverse materials and specifications for on-site processing trials, to verify the practical performance of the cryogenic deflashing process.
At the trial site, our technical engineers held in-depth discussions with the customer regarding product working conditions and key challenges in flash removal. Tailored to the material properties and parting line structure of each type of workpiece, we precisely adjusted equipment operating parameters one-on-one. We oversaw the whole trial processing procedure, recorded production data in real time and compared finished part outcomes.
After multiple consecutive rounds of testing, flash removal was successfully completed for all more than 80 workpieces. The finished parts showed no damage with clean elimination of mold parting lines. Both processing efficiency and yield exceeded the customer’s expectations by a large margin. The tangible trial results earned high praise and full recognition from the customer on site.
