Recently, Nanjing Zhaoling Precision Machinery (STMC) exhibited multiple sets of comparison samples before and after cryogenic deflashing processing, visually demonstrating the deflashing and deburring capacity of cryogenic deflashing equipment for rubber products. Mass deflashing treatment is also available for integrally molded workpieces.
As can be seen from the comparison samples, untreated rubber workpieces are attached with abundant runners, connecting flash and excess mold parting flash. The finished parts are tightly connected to mold waste, making manual separation difficult and inefficient. In addition, manual handling tends to scratch the product bodies. After cryogenic deflashing, products are completely separated from waste materials with intact and clean contours. All flash and excess material are removed, delivering finished products with consistent appearance and free from defects such as scratches and chipping.
The samples in this test cover rubber products of various structures, including special-shaped sealing rings, square rubber gaskets, strip rubber spacers and other integrally molded parts with diverse shapes, all of which have undergone efficient mass deflashing. Unlike traditional manual tearing and knife trimming, cryogenic deflashing embrittles rubber burrs at low temperatures and removes flash via pellet blasting. It is ideal for removing mold parting lines and overflow flash on large batches of rubber components, greatly cutting labor costs and stabilizing product yield.
